Emergency alerts are available to Jefferson County residents via Everbridge. This service is free-of-charge and administered by Jefferson County 911 Dispatch. It delivers automated weather warnings and public safety alerts via text, by calling your cellular phone, home, business, email and through the Everbridge App. Click here to sign up for Everbridge Alerts.
Office of Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management provides inter-agency coordination and planning support to mitigate the impact of natural & human-caused disasters in Jefferson County. The office is also home to Jefferson County’s Hazardous Materials Response Team.

Ready in 3: Prepare for Emergencies
The “Ready in 3” program from the Department of Health and Senior Services outlines three critical steps to ensure you’re prepared:

- Prepare a Kit – Assemble essential supplies, such as water, food, medications, and first-aid materials, for at least 72 hours.
