New Hillsboro Facility Updates

Watching our new facility project advance fills me with pride. It’s not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about building a future, protecting and promoting public health in Jefferson County.
— Steve Sikes, Interim Executive Director

Expected to be completed in April 2025, the facility is designed to meet the evolving needs of both JCHD programs and services and community needs. The new facility will have a clinical area with several exam rooms, a drive-up testing laboratory, blood draw stations, a large conference room for board meetings, training, and events, designated parking for the agency’s mobile healthcare units, and much more. The new facility project is estimated to cost a total of $9.7 million.

We are grateful to all partners, stakeholders, and community members who have supported and contributed to the realization of this project!
