Health Literacy Guidelines

 

1) Look at the Ask Me 3 materials and make sure these questions are answered each time with each community member/patient.   

                                                                

2)  Check the readability statistics for any of the information you give to patients or the public.

 

3)  Use the resources here as a guide, but remember individual strategies are needed for each community in order to keep your patients and residents safe and informed!
