Due to lack of funding, the health department no longer conducts routine inspections of swimming pools that are open to the public. The only swimming pools the department routinely inspects are those that are associated with licensed lodging facilities. Inspections of other swimming pools will be conducted if a complaint is received or a illness is associated with the pool in question.
